Jaun Cemetery

9

The richness of this site lies in the wooden crosses hand-carved by Walter Cottier in the second half of the 20th century, then by Reinold Boschung from 1995 onwards. The crosses, topped with a wooden roof, have two sections, one describing the activities of the deceased, the other more symbolic, evoking his or her character or inclination.

The cemetery is open every day from 9am to 8pm. For more information, visit the Jaun Tourismus website.
