Temple of Château-d'Œx

Temple of Château-d'Œx

13

Formerly the church of Saint-Donat, the temple was built around 1555 using the remains of the tower of the castle of the Counts of Gruyère. After the fire that almost destroyed Château-d'Œx in 1802, the church was rebuilt and fitted with an imperial roof. The stained glass windows dating from 1904 are by Thédore Delachaux.

The Château-d'Œx temple is open every day from 9am to 6pm. More information on the EERV website.
