Church of Rossinière

Church of Rossinière

12

Dating back to 1556, the former church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine and the vicarage (1770) dominate the village, forming a beautiful ensemble. The choir vault still preserves vestiges of wall paintings. Different styles adorn the interior: gallery nave, square-panelled ceiling, Gothic windows, pulpit (1645) with marquetry decoration. There is also a stained glass window (1912) by Clement Heaton.

The Rossinière church is open all year round from 9am to 6pm. For more information, visit the website of the Église Évangélique Réformée du canton de Vaud.
