Turret of the church in L'Etivaz

11

The church at L'Etivaz is one of the first Waldensian temples to be rebuilt after the Reformation (1589). Its bell tower with its Bernese-influenced octagonal spire is exceptionally located on the chancel. The flat ceiling panelled with wood panelling dates back to 1590. The parish house, built in 1707 by the carpenter Joseph Gobalet, forms a remarkable ensemble with the church.

The Church of L'Etivaz is open from 9am to 5pm. For more information, visit the Pays-d'Enhaut tourist office website.
