Located within the walls of Chillon Castle, the Saint-Georges chapel was the private religious building of the counts and dukes of Savoy. It is notable for its 14th-century murals depicting the genealogy of Christ, the Incarnation and the Redemption. The chapel is one of the few Waldensian religious buildings to have been spared by the iconoclasts during the Reformation.

The chapel is open at the following times:

April to September from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm (last entrance at 6.00 pm), March and October from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm (last entrance at 5.00 pm), November to February from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm (last entrance at 4.00 pm).
The chapel is closed on 25 December and 1 January. More information on the Chillon Castle website.
